The best starting point is yourself…

Brand awareness, brand positioning, competition analysis, creating a brand, business growth, funding, sponsorship, lead generation, marketing, sales, customer relations, customer loyalty, talent management and retention and the ‘X Factor’. What do they all have in common? You.

Let me put it another way. “Wherever you go, there you are” is the Zen parable. Thinking that you are someone else in work than at home is like trying to jump away from your shadow. It doesn’t matter if you work in any of these disciplines or whether, as a small business owner, you are responsible for all of them, any decision comes from you, from your mind. And how do you know that you are making good decisions? They manifest in results.

What’s the point in generating leads if you don’t know how to handle them? What’s the point in creating or developing a brand if you don’t know what you stand for? What is the point of hiring great talent if you don’t know how to keep them? What’s the point in marketing if you don’t know who your customers are? All these things start with your perception of reality and what you perceive to be the best possible good. Unfortunately, this isn’t always correct.

It may be a knee-jerk reaction based on fear, it may be an unwillingness to change with the times because of tradition and the amount of time you have already invested. It may be pride.

The bottom line is that my business is about the success of yours and your success can be measured by results. I am the catalyst for change. So remember; nothing changes if nothing changes.
